Abstract curly plaster bust, made by contemporary Irish sculptor Kevin Francis Gray (born 1972) The sculpture is unsigned. Kevin Francis Gray has generated bodies of work which address the complex relationship between abstraction and figuration. He studied at the National College Of Art and Design, Dublin (1995), the School of Art Institute, Chicago (1996), and he completed his MA in Fine Art at Goldsmiths, London (1999). Gray is a figurative sculptor, who works predominantly with bronze and marble. His work has been shown in London, São Paulo, New York, Berlin, and Rome. He is currently represented by Pace Gallery, London. Unique piece. Height 43cm. His sculptures reflects the artist’s signature style by combining organic and geometric forms, creating an interesting sense of tension. Pol Spilliaert studied sculpture at the La Cambre Academy of Art in Brussels where he was taught by notable figures like modernist architect Leon Stynen , graduating as laureate in 1959. Marc Lampens takes classes in plastic arts at the art academy in Oudenaarde, and learned to work with all available materials with which an artist can get creative, such as stone, metal , bronze and wood. He currently focuses mainly on the creation of jewelery in the noblest of all metals: gold.

Large sculpture “Piéta” from 1999 in Belgian black marble by Belgian sculpter Pol Spilliaert (1935-2023). His sculptures reflects the artist’s signature style by combining organic and geometric forms, creating an interesting sense of tension.  Pol Spilliaert studied sculpture at the La Cambre Academy of Art in Brussels where he was taught by notable figures like modernist architect Leon Stynen , graduating as laureate in 1959.  This sculpture comes with a photo of Pol Spilliaert posing near his artwork and a handwritten letter from the artist to the first owner of the artwork explaining the approach and the sense of this sculpture.  This work is listed page 78 of the book on Pol Spilliaert by Jaak Fontier edition Lannoo.
